The Praise Team At Practice

The purpose of the group known at Trinity as the “Praise Team” is to provide transition from the world, into worship, by leading the congregation in the singing of predominantly contemporary Christian music at the beginning of each Sunday morning service. A mix of upbeat and contemplative, newer and more
standard contemporary repertoire is intended to draw worshipers into the sanctuary in advance of each service, to sing along or just to sit back and enjoy. The group comprises about a dozen Trinity music enthusiasts who love
to praise God, allowing us to have three to six singers and musicians enthusiastically lead the Praise singing at the beginning of each service. One member is designated as the Worship Leader each week, to provide continuity and focus by introducing the service’s theme and music selections and leading the congregation into God’s presence.
