Help Build a Church Concert
On July 12th, 2009, Trinity was very excited to present a spectacular concert in an enchanted setting. The concert featured “The Allison Lupton Band” & special guests, “Gracenote” and the Andy Duffy Group
In the amazing entertainment spot of Saunders Farms, guests spread out on the grass before the stage on a beautiful afternoon. Children danced and the audience clapped and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves at this benefit to help support Trinity’s efforts to build a new church. The proceeds will go to a musical sound system, which seems very fitting given the generosity of the performers in donating their musical talent and their personal time to once again support Trinity. Trinity is very blessed to have such friends.
If you have the opportunity to attend any performances by these groups, don’t miss it. You will be thoroughly entertained.
Allison Lupton was nominated, Canadian Folksinger of the year in 2008. The latest album by this talented performer and her five piece band, “Fly Like Swallows” was reviewed by Matt Carter, Penquin Eggs as …”.”…a true Canadian sound.”Fly Like Swallows” unveils the group’s true musical identity. The album’s sound is a combination of Celtic and old-time flavours mixed with a hint of Ottawa Valley and French-Canadian fiddling – a true Canadian sound. The songs are wonderfully structured with flowing melodic arrangements that carry the words and stories with ease and grace. The instrumentals are great. Jigs, reels and waltzes offer a nice contrast to the album’s songs without swaying too far from home.” Check it out on her web site, www.allisonlupton.com

Gracenote Reviews:
“Gracenote” is a collaboration of grace, compassion, and amazing talent.
Their singing and inspired accompaniment are enough to lift anyone’s spirit. The group is most generous in their willingness to perform and have been most enthusiastic in putting their incredible musical talents toward our church building project. “Gracenote” is well loved by any in the community who have had a chance to hear them. Those of us who have, just want to hear them more!”
