SMALL GROUPS/COURSES
A New Season Begins at Trinity this fall with a wide choice of small group courses to meet all interests. All are welcome.
A variety of of Small Groups run regularly at Trinity and additional courses start frequently, keep checking this site. For additional information see Small Groups. For courses presently running or about to start see below:
- Daytime Study Group At Trinity - Consider dropping by to experience this interesting, friendly and lively group. Brown Bag Lunch & Study. Click on link for more information. Last year this group met at 12:35pm with participants bringing their own bag lunch (coffee and tea are provided), a study on various books and topics followed at 1:00-2:00pm. Final details re day, time and subjects to be discussed are still being worked out. If you would like to add your input call the church office at 613 836 1429.

- “Re-connect”, SPIRITUAL EXERCISES TO DEVELOP INTIMACY WITH GOD: Mondays, beginning in mid October. Have you ever wanted to develop a closer relationship with God? Have you ever wondered what you could do to better understand His will for your life? Come and be a part of this workshop that was developed by David Sherbino. Lead by Rev. Shaun Seaman, course will run for 7 weeks. For more details click on link above or contact Rev Seaman 613 836 1429.
- CHRISTIAN STUDY GROUP: Tuesdays, 7:30, beginning Sept 28th, 2010. An evening fellowship group, getting together to study readings from the New Testament, Ecclesiastes as well as possible studies of Peter, James and John, depending on group interests. A wonderful opportunity to get to know other members of Trinity’s congregation, share a fun evening, and build your faith! Study to take place in various members’ homes, please call church office 613 836 2064 for location.
- W OMEN’S LIFESTYLE GROUP: Always topical – we’ll get together to look at four DVD’s by Joyce Meyer on such topics as: decluttering your [spiritual] life, setting boundaries in relationships, staying within the Word of God in our busy lives, and dealing with weight, finances, and addictions according to God’s will and Word. These are interesting and challenging messages which we will discuss [or listen to the discussion if you'd rather just think about what you've seen and heard] in a supportive and friendly setting. Five evenings starting in October. Dates to be announced.
- THE MARRIAGE COURSE: Begins Wed. October 13th, 2010, 7:15 pm. The aim of the course is to help couples grow closer and build a healthy relationship that will last a lifetime. Topics include: Building strong foundations; The art of communication; Resolving conflict; The power of forgiveness, The impact of family; and Love in action. The dates are Oct 13, 20, 27, Nov 3, 17, Dec 1,15. The course is for couples and will have a cost per couple of $30. to cover cost of manuals and refreshments.
ONGOING GROUPS -OPEN TO ALL
- Senior’s Fellowship Group Lunches: All welcome, regardless of age. Come and join us for lunch, fellowship and excursions to local restaurants, meet new friends and enjoy a pleasant Sunday afternoon! Watch announcements below for specific dates and times.
- Trinity Prayer Circle: Meeting monthly, this group is open to all those who would like to join in prayer for people and events in our lives or around the world. Come to one gathering or all of them. We will be meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Church. See announcements below for specific dates.
- Prayer Email Chain: This is an informal group of Trinity’s members who have offered to pray for special prayer requests forwarded to them via email. Emergencies are handled by phone. For more info, or if you would like to be a member of our Email Chain, contact the church office 613 836 1429.

Trinity Hilltop Ringers - New Members Needed. A-PEALING TO YOU To Consider an A-PEALING OPPORTUNITY! Our Trinity Hilltop Ringers will be launching a new season as of Monday, September 13th. You will appreciate that we need a full cast of talented bell-handlers and this year are in need of one new full-time swinger (a handbell ringer with a beat). If you are a sharp, experienced music reader, interested in learning how to shake, damp and mart, and can commit your Monday evenings and four to six Sunday mornings to this unique way of creating music with a group, please contact the church office, 613 836 1429. If you’re really more of a clapper yourself but you know of someone who would be a “dead ringer” for this job description, we’d appreciate your chiming in with your suggestion.
