Pastor Shaun Seaman

Shaun Seaman has been the Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church since 1992. He was raised in the United Church in Elgin, Ontario and was ordained into the Presbyterian Church in Canada in 1986. He has B.A., B.P.E. from McMaster University, an M.A, in Physical Education from the University of Western Ontario, and an M. Div. from Knox College, the University of Toronto.
He has ministered in Stouffville, Ontario, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Windsor, Noel Road,Nova Scotia, and participated in two ministerial exchanges to New Zealand.
Shaun and his wife Heather are the parents of three teenagers, Eben, Logan and Hannah. Both Shaun and Heather have a background in physical education and the family continues to be involved in various sports including biking, marathons, swimming and water polo. Shaun is blessed with many other talents as well. He has held several exhibits of his artwork, done in various mediums, has a passion for gardening, plays a number of musical instruments and has an impressive singing voice.
Recognizing the diversity of interests and opinions within every church family, Shaun strives to meet the variety of needs of the congregation at Trinity. The focus of his ministry is to encourage others to experience the joy of knowing God as they try to live out the Gospel. He attempts to do this through the warm nurturing relationships of small groups, engaging worship and the development of strong relational connections.
Shaun describes Trinity as “a warm, family atmosphere, filled with enthusiastic, vibrant people, who, with him, continue to seek to grow in a better understanding of God’s grace and love, and His call upon all our lives. Being at Trinity is a celebration….of life and love, traveling the journey with others who are, in faith finding their way, one tiny step at a time”.
Trinity feels truly blessed to have this man for their pastor, spiritual mentor and friend.
