Session

Session is the governing body of a Presbyterian Church and consists of the ministers of the church and elected “elders”. These elders are elected and ordained and although they are ordained for life, at Trinity, by decision of the congregation, an elder serves for the specified term of 6 years.

Session meets each month and their responsibilities include supervising all committees and programs, governing policy and procedures regarding use of the church building, serving the congregation by encouraging the ministry of God’s spiritual gifts, administering the sacraments, as well as several other special responsibilities.
